You're missing the point entirely.
They're noncompetitive now. That wouldn't be the case if Ricky was there. Otherwise what the fukk was everyone so hyped up for in terms of hoping they'd be some sort of watchable team?
I wasn't the one who claimed they would be anything worth watching this year breh. In fact I tried to temper @Tony_Bromo 's expectations on the year in preseason.
Ricky Rubio is/was not the factor that would launch them into the top 8 in the west. Hes not going to save anything. That team just isn't on that level yet.

He's the factor that will be the difference between them being respectable and them being what they are now. If he's not going to "save anything" now or later, then they're never gonna make it back to the playoffs, because what you're learning right now is that they have a collective sorry ass organization without #9 out there.
