We all explained to you why you give him his money... but you were on some, "I can't justify paying him more than Taj and Noah" when they signed their deals years ago and perimeter players who can play D are going for a premium. The cap is expanding anyway, so 12.5 million right now won't be shyt when that new CBA goes into effect. You continued to bring up 14/15M when he was negotiating for a deal less than that. But now letting him go to RFA this offseason guarantees that the Bulls will be paying him 15M+ instead of just giving him what he asked for

Dude, I recanted on the 6-8 mill deal thing when I finally considered the tv deal and the cap going up. And i made the 11 4 mill apart post before i knew he was asking for 12.5, go check the times of the post. My point was always against the max. Ain't no tip toe, I'm in here saying the exact same thing, if it was that why cut out the end of my post?

My bottom line is still the same, kawhi and Klay have earned and built themselves up to demand max money, you dudes talking just handing it to jimmy like he on they level. And all I was saying was let him earn that money rather then us pay him without earning it.

Now what the hell does that have to do with me still being a jimmy fan and going to bat for dude whenever other fan bases said we were over rating him? I been defending jimmy from his skeptics for 2 seasons. That was the premises of my original post, you still sour I disagree with Doug getting starter minutes decided to intertwine the post and make one criticism of him earning his money mean now I don't like jimmy no more or something. the shyt don't even go together

Here's the thing... the negotiations weren't for Klay and Kawhi money. It was for 12.5M... and people were saying that Klay shouldn't of got the max, let's not forget that. The Warriors paid him because they believed in him... and he got 17.5M... which is a bit lower than what the Bulls could of paid Jimmy.

So there's no point in arguing why he should get Klay/Kawhi money when my point is the Bulls should of signed him when they could of for that discount. If he continues to play like this all season then he's easily worth a contract in the 15 and up range. Look at his FG% and his defensive numbers

I was never arguing against the 12.5 I was arguing against max money. I made the post when I thought the bulls offered 11 mill and the reports were that they were 4 mill apart. Which would mean jimmy asking for max. I really said nothing about the 12.5

Now you making my point " if he continues playing like this all season than he easily worth 15 mill" well duh !? I said the same thing let him earn the damn money.

You all were ready to hand him 15 mill before this kind of production. This argument happened 3 games into the season before the deadline. I simply said let him earn it. I don't see what the big deal is with that, nor how that now makes me a jimmy hater or something . I mean where were yall when I was defending jimmy against the guys saying he a non factor and we over rating him?
