He was statistically the worst rim protector in the NBA last year, basically when he's the last thing between you and scoring @ the rim, you're gonna hit the shot like 58% of the time :scusthov: As far as opponent FG% is concerned, only the Wolves and Lakers are worse than the Cavs, and it's coming from interior scoring because they are basically average when it comes to defending the 3.

If the Cavs can get a rim protector behind him it would allow them to hide his weakness, he's no worse than Zach Randolph or David West on defense, the difference is those guys have elite interior defenders behind them.

Where are the individual rim protector stats?

alex len is gonna be a problem...he's still raw but has nice touch around the basket and runs the floor with ease
as long as he cuts down on the ticky tack over aggressive fouls he should stay on the floor

suns need some size badly though especially at the 4 who can defend and rebound...kenyon martin would be a good pick up ....or they better see what they could get for gerald green while his stock is still high..
