OKC not going stay afoot to long in the picture. Unless Sacramento learns how to close out games they won't make it either.
Pelicans look like they'll get that 8th seed. It'll come down to them and Phoenix .

Rockets, warriors, clips, spurs, blazers, grizzlies, and Mavs are pretty much guaranteed spots. Unless either LMA or lillard go down, the other team listed are deep enough to with stand an injury to a star player.
That leave Phoenix, sactown and pelicans for the thunder to stay with. I don't think thunder have that luxury of having an off month. And the thing about it is Phoenix and pelicans made made improvements in the offseason. Tyre me is really learning his role next to Davis and playing it well.
Too early in the year to be discussing this imo. March starts in December for us unlike other teams. I think we can still win the division which is a guaranteed 4 spot

OKC had the best record in the west last season. You could assume they can afford to lose about 10 less games and still make the playoffs.

Westbrook gonna come back fine most likely , but that foot stuff should be making nikkas worry about Durant. He a skinny nikka and with this being his first injury and the foot at that should be alarming.
Russy can get them an 8th spot if he's healthy.

Not just that. DurNt ain't flabby or othin like but he looks to be the Paul pierce of his generation. He might be slim but he don't look like he touches a gym at all. This injury could be nagging if he don't rehab it right

They won 59 games last season. 10 less games put them at 8th seed at 49 and ten less games is hopeful cuz there's goin to be an adjustment period for both of them and also for Reggie Jackson who has to go back to a reduce role. Also the west is better this season and has added more teams to the race in sactown and New Orleans. 49 wins will be a lot harder to come by in this more competitve WC.

I don't think OKC without durant is better than a healthy pelicans or suns squad.

Russy got that extra gear tho and they have been in the bright lights before. I think that puts them over Pho or NO imo.
