Nah not really, for most of the game the Celtics would stretch out a lead with the starters in and lose it once the bench stepped in (Evan Turner ). To say Reggie outplayed him would be to suggest that Rondo played badly which ain't true and it ain't like Reggie stunk up the first half on purpose. For the majority of the game Rondo was the better player. Of course that ain't what counts but to suggest he got outplayed is off base.

Thank you, this is what I am trying to say. New to posting actively, but just confused as to this whole argument. I would concede if I saw the actual point, but I dont.

Nah. I'm just tired of the Rondo hate. He needs HOFs for triple dubs, assists. He can't play with in other systems. He dribble the ball to infinity. He cant lead a top 10 offense. I feel you. To clarify tho, the whole outplaying post wasn't to knock Rondo. It was to state my opposition to the notion that you have to guard someone to outplay them. I was watching the Orlando NY game, I am in no position to comment on Boston and whoever they played today so I'm not
