aww how cute. defending your big sister bilz.

now address that non-call on gasol clown.
Defending what? You quoted me and Im responding to you. Stop arguing like a high school bytch.

Gasol had literally one finger on him that clearly didnt affect the shot at all. Harden had Zbo's entire huge hand slap down on his forearm as he was going up, causing him to lose the ball. And its just the latest example of the ridiculous preferential officiating Memphis gets nearly every night, that is the entire basis of their identity and success.

You running to some wack Grizzlies fan forum to find a picture of a finger on Gasol's wrist to try to equate the two possessions or act like the refs didn't hand Memphis the game yet again, is pathetic. Like a high school bytch :camby: Like a Laker fan :scust:

Uncertain grounds
Embrace him, here's there to stay :blessed:

Shortly after taking over control of the Celtics, and well aware that his anti-'Toine comments were part of the public record, courtesy of TNT, Ainge said he would not make a single phone call with the intention of trading Walker.

Gone.

Just this week, Ainge said he wanted to put any trade talk to rest, telling the Boston Globe, "I have absolutely no intention of trading Paul Pierce." There, does that settle it for you?

In 2005, Ainge tried to trade Pierce to Portland for the No. 3 pick in order to draft Paul. The trade fell apart and Paul went No. 4 to New Orleans, behind Andrew Bogut, Marvin Williams and Deron Williams. "Chris Paul was clearly the No. 1 pick in the draft that year, in my mind,'' says Ainge. "I was very confident in spite of my own staff, in spite of my own coaches and my own people not sharing that opinion.''

Rival executives say that Ainge has been firm in his stance that Rondo will not be dealt. But many of those same executives believe that Ainge has to trade Rondo, to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.

“They’re definitely bravely saying they won’t trade him at this point,” said one general manager, who nevertheless added, “I definitely think it’s the right thing to trade him. I think Danny knows it.”

:mjpls:

Analytics. "He was the first GM in basketball to use it for sure,'' says Morey, who worked for both the front office and the business side of the Celtics after helping Grousbeck's ownership group define the financial value of the team. Morey was soon joined by Mike Zarren, a lawyer and Freakonomics-styled data analyst who has risen to become Ainge's assistant GM.

The numbers wont lie once the sample size is big enough. :sas1:

He was as bold in his career: Shortly after he had been hired by the Suns as an assistant coach in 1996, he remembers recommending Steve Nash for the No. 15 pick in case the Suns were unable to land Kobe Bryant, who was their priority.
"I was sort of a lone soldier on the Steve Nash idea,'' says Ainge. "Jerry [Colangelo] asked me a question one-on-one at that time, he said: 'The rest of the staff thinks you like Nash because Nash reminds you of him and him of you, and that's typical of the way ex-players think.' So I wondered about that. Do I like Steve because he reminds me of me? Are these guys right?''

He'll do the right thing when the right time comes. :jawalrus:
