If you watched the game, there is literally no way you can say Westbrook "came to play"....
When Jackson wasn't out there, Westbrook was the only one who would put pressure on the Knicks defense, everyone else wouldn't be doing shyt. They weren't cutting, they weren't moving without the ball, they were passive on both sides of the court.
Didn't run the offense.
Took every contested shot possible, even with wide open players 5 feet away from him.
Hardly anybody tried to look for their shot. It was pathetic. I see multiple times out there where Jones, Ibaka and Morrow passed up shots. Westbrook was passing, but once they started to lose whatever momentum they had (from the rest of the team not doing shyt) he took it upon himself to create something for the team. There were definitely times out there he showed of passed, but I don't blame him for not, because when he was passing they weren't doing shyt with the ball and on the other end they'd give up easy points and that would always shift the momentum.
This game was one of the few times where I wasn't mad at Westbrook for just doing shyt on his own.
Are we going to act like Durant didn't have the worse cast that year and still lead the team to the top of Western Conference? This is pathetic and embarrassing.
He's had a few games this season where he's cost them games or nearly cost them games without Durant, but this wasn't one of them.
