Even if he jumped, Dirk is going to get that shot off
it would've made it harder for dirk if he jumped and actually had his arms up. it was logical to try to steal when he had the ball down low but melo just kept trying and then didn't jump at all. how else do you contest a 7fters shot?

not like this

the pistons beat the Lakers 4-1 if my memory serves me correctly...not in 6...

the Pistons beat the Lakers in 2004 in 5
The Celtics are the defensive minded team that beat them in 2008

But that chart must have been made before the season started, no team in the East in sweeping the Heat.

The kings jimmer pick down the drain, they could have had picked Barnes I believe in that draft.

Couldn't the kings traded him to Utah for something?

1:00pm: The Grizzlies are in on Fredette, tweets Marc Stein of ESPN.com. Memphis has pursued Fredette via trade since last season, Stein adds in a second tweet.

11:46am: The Cavs had interest in Fredette before the trade deadline, too, tweets Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio, who suggests that Cleveland could be in the mix again, even though the trade talks didn’t make much progress. The Jazz have had no discussions about adding Fredette, a source tells Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports (Twitter link).

Rajon Rondo remained in Los Angeles for a birthday celebration after Friday's game against the Lakers and did not accompany the Boston Celtics to Sacramento for Saturday's game.

Rondo did not receive permission from the team to remain in Los Angeles for a birthday celebration.

“We already talked about it,” Rondo said. “There’s nothing to talk about.”

The Celtics aren't treating it as a big issue, but some were displeased by the move.

Rondo was not scheduled to play against the Kings since it was the second night of a back-to-back.

Rondo could receive a fine.

“His wife and kids were with him in LA, and there were some other people who came in,” a source said. “I think he felt obligated to them, too, and what they had planned for his birthday.”
