The Jazz rebuffed “one or two” trade proposals before the deadline that would have netted them a late first-round pick in return for Marvin Williams, as Chad Ford of ESPN.com writes in his latest Insider-only “Tank Rank” piece. There were apparently other intriguing offers on the table as well, but Utah chose to hang on to the ninth-year veteran in hopes of re-signing him this summer, Ford writes.

Magic are such a shytty, worthless franchise. why would u let a quality player in Big Baby leave for absolutely nothing? they couldn't even get a 2nd round pick for him? :shaq2:

marvin has turned himself into a good versatile player whose probably a valuable locker room guy to those youngins.... but why risk a first round pick when some playoff contender will probably scoop him up in FA... you can't believe everything these so called insiders put out there..
