What’s it gonna be is slower, I know the old school radio station that used to be out here was about mid tempo and upbeat rap songs. Nothing too slow/sensual.

I hear all kinds of shyt on them stations out here though...nikkas be playing Silks "Freak U" at 7 in the morning n shyt followed by Back Dat Azz Up...

my mention of slow/sensual was in regard to rap songs. of course they play the r&b slow jams. but i can't speak for you station, i just know the one that was out here didn't play slow/sensual rap songs. it was all mid and uptempo

So I’m listening to BDK tonight (been revisiting hella old shyt I barely existed for). It’s wild jay z is so close in age to dudes like kane and Rakim but clearly occupied such different eras. I guess jay should be happy he was unsuccessful in the 80s/early 90s

Great point. Those guys in those eras had to do a lot of dirty work...Jay came in at literally the perfect time.
