I Miss Scratches man... That's the one thing I miss the most probably, if I hear a new preemo beat on a thread subject title I think ok maybe he'll bring it back here... but nah still no...

I remember them Weezy Squad Up Mixtapes, was just going to make a thread about where of the SQs was the best mixtape, that's ALOT of shyt he released.

Man... When Wu-Tang was todays'... I don't know.... Drake or Kendrick combined. Them days were serious.

Hip-Hop is a former shell of itself.

It started with the SugarHill Gang, Grandmaster Flash, Run DMC, & LL Cool J, MC Lyte etc., in the 80's (Peace,Conscious, & Party rap era)
Then it transitioned to NWA, Ice-T, 2Pac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Outkast, etc., in the 90's (Gangsta rap era, highest selling era in rap)
Then got 50, Em, T.I., Kanye, Luda, etc., in the 00's (Southern dominance era)

I said all that to say this... Idk wtf happen to hip-hop in general after 2004 but the shyt has when from slow decline to life support. I know that this start with the fallout from the deaths of Pac & BIG but I mean like wtf it seems like 2005 - and throughout most of the 2010's shyt has been mostly garbage juice with a few classic albums here and there. But now it just seem to be a bunch of no name nikkas that don't give a fukk about the shyt they put out they just trying to collect a check when they 15 mins of fame is up they ain't even a footnote in hip-hop. I can respect what J.Cole & Kendrick trying to do with they music but the rest of these nikkas is clowns. Yeah that includes Drake, Nikki, Meek and whoever else came out the 2010's era of hip-hop.

Suge should've been ashamed of himself for letting MC Hammer where that speedo in the Pumps In A Bump video.

It's tough for me to listen to white rappers.

Big Sean makes catchy music I can somewhat enjoy, but I will probably never listen to a Big Sean album in my life.

I can't stop thinking about those Dej Loaf tweets. Now I picture her as Uncle Ruckus.

c/s...i can't sit thru an entire album of him. him, wale, and weeknd simply suck for anything past 8 songs IMO :manny:

see that's the thing about Wale. Despite all his bytching and self importance. I do want to see him succeed, but I'm not gonna be the buying his shyt or even listening to it. :mjlol:

Last thing I liked from him was Lotus Flower Bomb and all I remember is the beat and the hook.:yeshrug:
