How long did you have to deal with it and how did your get through it ?

Was doing weighted chins with a bar at the top of the tall rack (maybe 9, 9.5 feet tall). Jumped up to grab the bar and caught it kinda awkwardly, could immediately tell I had fukked something in my left elbow up.


Finished the session and was pretty sure I had sprained a tendon or something. Motrin, K tape, and Salon Pas took care of the tweak but the tendinitis lasted for a hot minute afterwards (maybe 7, 8). :sadcam:


I usually get pretty bad elbow tendinitis whenever I start benching and overhead pressing 6 plus times a week (combined with squatting 6 plus times a week) and not stretching enough. Elbow sleeves on heavy singles and doing higher rep hammer curls helps a bit but I usually just play through it. :manny:


I should probably stretch. :beli:

Anyways,
Had to start with deadlift cause I woke up late up to 425,500 by August is right there:whoo:
135*5
225*5
315*5
405*3
425*1
Then did the glute machine:whoa: (I wrestle)
Had to do leg press:martin:
1 leg 45 lb on each side
3 plates and finally 5 plates
Finally got a squat rack
225*10(twice)
275*5
315*5
Did tricep extension chest fly and finished with shoulder lateral raise

Not bad for 1st day back after a week off

Not sure what I want to do in the gym today...not in the mood to do my full body routine. Was thinking this would be a good point to do a low rep workout to see how much weight I can really push or I can go light for 15-20 reps and get an aerobic workout :jbhmm:


Edit: I used to make fun of white girls in HS and college who always had random bruises, now I have random bruises on my legs :sadcam:
