A friend of mine wants to join my gym and wants me train him but I don’t really want to. The gym is my sanctuary; I go in with my headphones on do my workout and leave. I don’t talk to anyone and I can focus. With him there, there will be talking etc and I’m not really into that. Don’t want any friends or people I know at my gym.
Breh I'm the same way .


My friend husband was working out with me dude ain’t last long lol .


Dude came no headphones and was tryna talk all day .


He got the program within a week . I would ignore him and moved through my sets so it ended up working out . He actually ended up pushing me a little just by being there .

I found this dumbbell workout on the internets that included 10 forward lunges. I start off with 15lb dumbbells and get through them, not effortlessly, but I wasn't dying. So, I'm feeling myself now and grab the set of 20lbs. Just call me Jon KneeBuckle. :sadcam:

It had a spark when it started. I step forward with my right foot and hit the left lunge with some hesitation, but I make it back up. I step left and that right knee had me kneeling like Kaepernick. I'm struggling to get up, from kneeling position, both legs shaking, arms burning...still holding the weights though. :why:

Common sense finally kicks in like "LET THE WEIGHTS GO, DUMMY!!":martin: I drop them hoes, stand up, and compose myself. I'll just stick with the 15's for now. :skip:

You gotta ask yourself how good of a friend is this person?


I'm always down to bring somebody because I know it usually won't last long; they'll get bored or tired of being tortured and go back to doing what they are doing. :unimpressed: All but one of my trainees has completely failed; even Mom Dukes says I'm a mean trainer. :demonic:


I usually just show up an hour or so early, move them through their sets, take my #Powda before their last exercise starts, and then do my thing once they're finished. :yeshrug:

Today was probably the best workout I’ve had. Heavy upper body day; smashed it. HIIT; smashed it. Core; smashed it followed by 45mins incline walk on the treadmill. Also smashed it.

Picked up some rotisserie chicken on my way home and that’ll get smashed too :shaq:


Rotisserie and jollof rice. Ghanaian style :banderas:

made "sweet" oatmeal today, this shyt does not hit like savory oats. :camby:

oats with some broth, eggs, onion, cheese, arugula >>>> oats with almondmilk, sweetner, cinnamon, berries, walnuts

Been going hard in the gym almost everyday since the past week. Today will be my first rest day in a while. Been dealing with lactic acid buildup in my arms lately. Hopefully this rest day will prove to be beneficial so I can get back in the gym tomorrow
