Breh I'm the same way .A friend of mine wants to join my gym and wants me train him but I don’t really want to. The gym is my sanctuary; I go in with my headphones on do my workout and leave. I don’t talk to anyone and I can focus. With him there, there will be talking etc and I’m not really into that. Don’t want any friends or people I know at my gym.
I found this dumbbell workout on the internets that included 10 forward lunges. I start off with 15lb dumbbells and get through them, not effortlessly, but I wasn't dying. So, I'm feeling myself now and grab the set of 20lbs. Just call me Jon KneeBuckle.
It had a spark when it started. I step forward with my right foot and hit the left lunge with some hesitation, but I make it back up. I step left and that right knee had me kneeling like Kaepernick. I'm struggling to get up, from kneeling position, both legs shaking, arms burning...still holding the weights though.
Common sense finally kicks in like "LET THE WEIGHTS GO, DUMMY!!"I drop them hoes, stand up, and compose myself. I'll just stick with the 15's for now.
