:dwillhuh: I’ve been getting strong in a couple of my lifts recently.

OHP is up to 195lbs
Barbell rows are at 2 plates.

I was capped at 175lbs on both lifts until recently.

Also the pacing of my work out has changed. I’ve managed to trim my time in the gym from 90 minutes to 75 minutes.

My goal is to get it to 45 minutes.

Also doing a lot more cardio recently. I don’t think being 220 at my height is good so I’m aiming for 205-210lbs

Had a good Deadlift sesh.... 285 was heaviest I went before L3 and L4 got sore.

Anybody know what I can do to fix my lower back so I can geaux heavier?

Also @Son Goku.....Sensei...you was right about them OHPs....fukk seated. Was worried I wouldnt be able to stand up to do them. Got bad hips and back. But I got 185 for reps. Kinda felt like a push press.

***Rant***

I had to check a dude cause he was hogging the knurled Lat Pulldown Wide bar. Ol boy was doing 15 sets of endless reps. I hate talking noise bout fat men in the gym...but you can clearly tell who never played sports amongst the fat men....

Now they wanna come in my world and hold up my workouts......:scust:

So it's torn to the point that I don't need surgery. Thank goodness for that. I can actually walk on it. But it's painful when I point my foot downward.

You ever see a basketball player grab their calf after they say they heard the pop? That's exactly what happened to me. As soon as it popped I grab the back of my leg. I can actually feel the pain radiate up my leg.

So no jogging or elliptical or biking for me for about 3 to 4 months.

Lifting and core. Doctor said no leg workouts.

Check your form and bracing. My lower back used to kill me on lightweight like 225. Cleaned up my form and Yesterday for example I was hitting 365 for reps and the last time I maxed out a month ago I was at 405. With no back pain. Are you lifting conventional or sumo?

Naw my form is good. I dont get soreness in my lower back til I geaux heavy heavy. Today I had 285 for 3 singles. During the lift I felt fine. I only felt discomfort after the set was over. I just took it as my L3 and L4 was being hoes. Just getting back after 2 yr layoff with injuries.

I do Good Mornings and RDLs for accesory for my Deadlift...now core work I do the ab wheel 4 sets of 25.

Im doing conventional DL with overhand grip.
