1-1.2 k would be a bit too much for me.

I eat at about 500-600 calories below my maintenance then burn a daily average of 500-700 calories through exercise.

Eh hard to say.

Looking back we had very similar stats height wise and weight loss. I bottomed out at 170.

I don't think the calorie count is the question here. I think it's more about where you are body composition wise. The body is funny and to some degree your mind can trick yourself into going on that low of a calorie count for a while. Ultimately it took a good friend telling me to chill because I looked unhealthy.

We can't answer that for you. I would ask someone you trust. You might have more room to go or you might need to reevaluate your current goal.

How many calories should I aim for?

It's a case by case basis. Look up Base Metabolic Rate calculators. It calculates how many calories you burn at total rest. From there you factor in how much you want to lose knowing 3,500 calories is one pound.

Eg a 6ft man at 210 lbs may use up 2,200 calories at rest. Working a desk job might increase your daily expenditure to 2,350 (walking into the office, moving around here and there etc).

on the road to the 525 lb deadlift :mjlit:

today did a max of 475 x 2 ... with drop-sets... 455 x 2, 435 x 2, 405 x 3. :mjlit:

no chalk, no handstraps bullshyt... just all weight :mjlit:

the one compound lift i feel being tall / long arms gives me an advantage at... think i can hit my goal in the next month

Was supposed to get it in Thursday. I planned on going to see my grandmom and aunt since they were coming up from South Carolina but my brother bullshyt around and we didnt get there until two hours after we were supposed to. And I got a text my class is canceled today :martin:
