No, no, no...they been hunted down ever since mutants become public to the world at charge on a near mini Nazi like level...harassed to no end...endless discrimination. The American govt turned a blind eye to Operation Zero Tolerence..thats sick..crazy. They dont go after Thor like that, do they? And dont fly? Thats a jealousy problem..like whites hating black men for being so better than them athletically. The correlation is there...you know better.
i might be misremembering, but im pretty sure the asgardians in kansas never claimed they would replace humans or were superior to them. im not gonna downplay what mutantkind has gone through, but a lot of the shyt theyve caught over the years has been through max opening his mouth. and comparing black people to mutants is a weak fallacy. all weve ever wanted was to be left alone, and as a consequence have have all sorts of people meddling with us. max goes back and forth between trying to be sympathetic for his peoples cause to making strong supremacist level claims that no black leader would have ever been able to get away from, yet here we still have magneto was right fans not realizing that a lot of the turmoil that mutants experience to this day are because of his actions.

i know who they were based on, but its still not a similar situation no matter how it sliced. maybe again im mistaken, but im pretty sure mlk and malcolm never went down the genetic superiority route. i mean it was often used against us. black people arent superpowered nor have we gone to extremes that mutants have despite the constant boots on our necks. if you see malcolm in max, stop it. even at his most extreme, malcolm was never a monster the likes of max was
