I don't think anyone even cared about Cincinnati players leaving. :heh:

I didn't see any media talk about Cincinnati. :heh:

If you’ve been paying attention to college basketball, then you should have heard of the story. They launched an investigation against the coach after 6 players transferred and the end result was the coach being fired. Other teams have had just as many players if not more transfer, but it hasn’t gotten the attention of Cincinnati.

So something must have been going on if he got fired while other coaches are dealing with the transfer situation as well. They haven’t said exactly what led to him being fired.

Just because you didn’t hear about it, doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen. It’s a college basketball thoughts thread for a reason.

Maybe because they sucked.

Mick Cronin left him with a good roster and he drove the program down the drain.

This shouldn't be rocket science to figure out.

The investigation was only opened after 6 players entered the transfer portal.

If that’s enough to warrant an investigation and get a coach fired, then we’d see it a lot more than we did this off-season.

We need one last shoe to drop and that requires that one combo guard from the ACC to enter the transfer portal.

After that with St. John’s we winning it all.

The Memphis players left because of playing time or unhappy with their roll on the team.

Memphis Top 3 players are returning.

There was no reason to investigate.

The players that left even thanked Penny on social media for the opportunity to play at Memphis.

And what were the reasons that those Cincinnati players left? That’s my point.

Other teams have had as many if not more transfers than Cincinnati, yet their situation warranted an investigation which resulted in the coach getting fired. It was obvious that there is more to the situation, but no one has said a word about it.
