Both UNC and Duke lose by double digits on the road in their first conference game.
Although to be fair the ACC as a conference is projected to at least get 7-9 teams in the NCAAs and is clearly the best conference in the country this year.

Louisville is beating IU in their own state, and despite IU having the FT advantage...Louisville is in control of this game. You can tell they're clearly the better team.
The Cards have one of the best defenses I've seen this year by far and after seeing them beat Kentucky as well, they are legitimate threat to win it all. That size, athleticism, elite rebounding and lockdown defense is crazy.

TIRED of my squad getting no respect....we moved up to 9th a week ago, then FELL back to 10th even though we still ain't lost yet.

this road game narrative is mostly BS. league tourneys and NCAA tourney are all neutral site which is why coach K and other coaches play so many preseason tourneys and big time matchups on neutral sites. the "true road game" sentiment is irrelevant.
i'd rather lose a few games early in conference play and get players like bolden and giles to knock off the rust and work on what our best line-up is and be firing on all cylinders in March rather than stick to a short rotation and dominate in Jan/Feb. and be gassed by March so this loss is kinda ehhh to me. 
hopefully grayson sees how his actions hurt his team and let them down and he can come back healthy after watching a few games. UNC lost today too, to a worse team so we are still even as far as a reg. conference title goes.

I hope you're not saying that as a negative thing. Prime Monta isn't a bad player to be compared to.
I think the big difference is that Monk is going to be a much better shooter, especially from 3. He might already be a better defender than Monta ever was too
He will have the same problem as Monta though, needs to develop his PG skills to become great, which I think he can do. He won't be as much of a ball stopper either.

Dwyane Bacon working his way back up the draft board. Jonathan Isaac gonna fall right into Minnesota lap
Bacon's age will play a factor for how high he ends up. He is a 21 year old Sophomore. They will treat him as if he was a college senior, so he'll need to be All-American selected to have any real shot. Isaac skill wise , size and potential should definitely have him shooting up the draft boards. At a EYBL game with Durant watching, he said Isaac reminds him of him. That's high praise. He was a McDonald's lock but was ineligible because of a 5th year. BS rule since those games were loaded with nothing but 5th years, back in the day
