The playing time some of these guys are getting due to injuries is looking like it might help in the long run.

Especially for Amile Jefferson, I think he would have struggled a bit mentally if he started this year on the bench behind Bolden. He was playing pretty good last year before the injury and is looking even better now.

Once everyone is healthy for Duke they'll have a lot more experience from their bench. Only problem is getting the chemistry right with the freshmen, hopefully they get back soon and not too spread out.

As far as MSU, I can't tell if the makeup of this team is helping or hurting Bridges.

Guys like Jackson, Isaac, Markkanen are all way more efficient, and that's in part to not having to be the #1 guy.

Bridges is getting a lot of spotlight for being the first option at MSU, the high usage rate is boosting his draft stock artificially which is why this team might be hurting him. I don't think he's ready for the league yet.

But that is also where this team helps, as the bigger spotlight is showing a lot of his flaws which in time might help him lean towards staying. I think this MSU team could be really good if Bridges decides to stick around.

He has the perfect skills to be more of a finesse post up guy who can kill you in mid-range because you have to respect his ability to take it to the rack. 3pt shots are limiting his potential.
