So "my hand are up, I surrender, don't shoot me" is an offensive statement to police officers. Again, we live in a time and place where asking officers of the law, those that society entrusts to protect and serve us, can't be asked to responsibly perform their duties. NOT using excessive force is a notion so absurd that we have to apologize for articulating it.
