Nader is spot on in his insinuation about Obama being lacking in moral courage and having no fire in his belly. He is a middle of the road, milquetoast politician who is more likely to "go along to get along" than ever do anything that takes an ounce of political risk.

loved the moral courage and fire in their belly part

But economically and politically, I just don't understand how Obama could've pushed this through. Businesses are bytching right now over having to provide health insurance. When he was elected we were in the middle of the deepest economic recession since the Great Depression. How in the world, could he have possibly pushed this through?

Everytime he has tried to raise the quality of living through monetary means, every business in the country has said "we'll fire people and raise prices."

I got to see him speak about a decade ago and I've liked him ever since unfortunately his type seems to be a dying breed.

Now here come the posters "But that's not how Washington/politics works!!"

give us an example where he isn't on point. dude would be taken more seriously if he didn't look the way he does.
:what:
Unsafe at Any Speed(Nader's claim to fame), was the biggest pile of intellectual dishonesty to be taken seriously by the public. He's a hack :shaq2:

Ah, always ready appeal to emotion. :salute:

Logically, that assertion is completely false, but the emotional connection you threw in there clouds this, and makes us all :to:

You must be one of those clowns I see on the highway everyday.

His book slandered cars that were just as safe as any other car, and placed the auto industry under undeserving scrutiny, as if it was a good business model to have people dying driving your cars, and auto makers weren't interested in the safety of consumers. :mindblown:

It was all :duck:

and excepted without evidence.
