@re'up There since there isn't an official indictment yet is he just being held on that conspiracy charge? Did that charge originate with the state or NDGA?

A complaint is essentially as good as an indictment, it's just the less formal version, I cant quite explain what the exact difference is, but many drug cases, and all cases in which someone is arrested trying to cross an international border with drugs are written as complaints. A complaint is the first step, and indictment is second, as far as I can tell. Defendants can waive indictment also, or the AUSA can choose to formally indict them. But, prosecutors can take a case all the way with the complaint.

So, Ralo is in federal custody, pending a bond hearing, based on the complaint. I think they will formally indict him, and may include new charges. These are federal drug trafficking charges, 841 and 846, possession with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to distribute.

As far as I can tell, the charges originated with a task force of local and federal agencies, the state charge after the airport arrest must have been procedural, maybe the full complaint wasn't finished, and they wanted to hold him until they could execute the raid of the apartments. Usually high level offenders will be charged federally, if there is a task force.

There will be more info coming, I would think. They may end up charging all of them in a drug conspiracy or CCE, Continuing Criminal Enterprise.

Right, there is always a second bond hearing, unless the defendant waives the hearing. His lawyers will try to put together a bond package, property, cash bond, maybe even some of his rap friends will put something up. I think it's possible he gets bail.

But, showing all the images of guns and money to the judge, isn't going to look good. Connecting him with a street gang is worse.

It’s looking like he might get a bond. Two other defendants got bonds from what I read I think. It said some shyt like he may or may not be on probation in Fulton County, and the judge is waiting on clarification before he grants a decision. Sounds like if his probation is terminated then he will likely get one. Ain’t no telling if the Feds got some more charges on deck though.

Reading the report right now....this nikka actually WENT TO CALIFORNIA A SECOND TIME AFTER THE FIRST ARREST:mjlol::mindblown:.

yeah I've re-read this for the fifth time and I'm still like :gucci:

Authorities allege Davis sold drugs from several apartment units he rents in Atlanta dubbed “Ralo’s Hood,” WSB reported. Davis and eight of his associates, believed to be part of his purported gang Famerica, are named in an 11-page criminal complaint.

The complaint states Davis and his acquaintances traveled to California twice to retrieve 964 pounds of marijuana — worth nearly $2 million — with the intention of selling it in Atlanta. Davis was arrested April 15 at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport after he initially refused to leave the aircraft, authorities said

Nah I'm just being realistic. If you're dealing with shipping $1MM worth of drugs, I'd hire people who ship shyt for a living. If you're moving large amount of drugs this should have already be thought of/taken care of.

Notice I said large amount of drugs. Not moving a 5pack.

You don’t think they screen for drugs :mindblown:
