Chris Paul, no question. Anyone saying otherwise is a fool.

He doesn't rely on athleticism to be successful. I could see him playing at a high level until he's 40 like Nash and NO ONE can see his handles.

Rondo being the better rebounder is deceiving because he has to for his team to compete. The Celtics are 30th in the league in rebounding. While for the Bulls they're the 1 rebounding team in the league so Rose doesn't have to crash the glass. Rose avg 4.1 in MVP season on a historically great rebounding team, but he wouldn't have the same rebounding numbers as Rondo in Boston? Rose could easily be as good of a rebounder as Rondo if he wanted to. There's no reason to crash the glass with Asik/Noah/Boozer/Taj being at the top of the league in rebounding per 36 minutes. Give Rose shooters and bigs who don't disappear in the playoffs, and it's not even close.

Rose is a better ft shooter, better 3pt shooter, more dynamic offensive player, and a better defender. Give me the guy who's able to score AND distribute at an elite level over the guy who's scared to get fouled in crunch time. In Rondo's 5 years on the Celtics he's a 61% ft shooter. That's not a 1 option. Factor in how teams gameplan on Rose, and it's laughable. at any team ever playing Rose off like the Heat did Rondo last night.

Yeah, deceiving may have not been the right word I was looking for. My point is put Rose on the Celtics are he'd avg the same rebounding #'s. Heck Rose avg. 5 rebounds a game in the playoffs in his career to Rondo's 6 a game.

Ha, even in a rondo appreciation thread, Rose comes up. If the celts could have a healthy Rose right now instead of Rondo, he'd be on the first thang smokin'. That said, Rondo is a beast...he's just not Rose.
