It is bad out here in NorCal too though. I literally sign up in advance to buy specialty fried chicken from Brooklyn, NY Restaurant Peking House because they do pop-ups in San Fran a few times per year.....

I went to one out here, that shyt was trash.

It's in a great location downtown, it's big as hell for a fast food spot, so you're going to get everyone that works downtown, tourists, students, coming to check out something they've heard about on social media, especially the way people hype up the food.
Yeah there's one up north and one down south, but depending on where you live, you're not trying to drive 30+ minutes for some tenders. Some shyt that's a few blocks away from your office or class, that's easy.

To answer op most of it is because it's a new fast food place. If they sold japanese cuisine you'd see shorter lines but people genrally like chicken so folks show up.

It's not nasty per say, but you can tell they just use salt and pepper for the chicken. If you need something fast and quick, then it's good and fresh.
This is Chicago, plenty of chicken spots that shyt on raising canes.

People are so hyperbolic. It’s not terrible or horrible, but it is very basic. Since all they cook are tenders, you’ll get them fresh. So they’re not terrible, but convenient at least for some tenders real quick.
