The new ops look annoying as fukk and I'm starting to feel like that Pick and Ban mode is going to have to be standard eventually because some of the combinations that can be made with certain operators is going to overkill playing against.

It's basically a system that they plan on rolling out for the Pro League and then online later on that allows both teams ban operators in the prep phase. Here's an in-depth video about it...
It's going to be the standard mode in Pro League, and they're going to eventually roll it out in Ranked. They don't know when that will be tho. I think when it does drop it'll only initially be available in custom matches.
