U guys do your 10 placement matches yet?
Nah, we played a bunch of casual before winning 2 Ranked games and getting off.

I'm starting a trial tomorrow and the others have there own things so we took a early night off.

I'll be on heavy near the end of the week, though. We're trying to take this season much more serious.

I need help getting better at this game
Any tutorials/suggestions?
The best advice I can give you is find a group of people you trust that play the game and figure out y'all play styles. Different operators provide different advantages/disadvantages but it really gets frustrating if you play with randoms that have no mic and don't play the objective properly.

The only way you'll get better is understanding the maps. I also recommend headphones for this game. You are automatically handicapped if you're playing without them. You'll be able to hear soo much more with gaming headphones. Also, shoot out cameras. This goes with knowing the maps, but shoot out all the cams, it's mandatory. If you're playing with people with mics, and you see someone on cams, tell them where they are, don't just spot them. That's one thing noobs love doing... spotting on cams, but if you can tell your team that you see somebody and where they are coming from, then do that. All spotting does is alert the guy that they are on cams, and they'll just look for it or move away from that area.

The key to this game is understanding the maps and how people attack and defend the OBJs... and that includes knowing the lil intricate hiding spots, knowing the popular angles that people like to hold, knowing which flanking routes to cover when your team is pushing forward... gun skill is nice to have but information and playing smart trumps a lot of shyt in this game when you're first starting out. When you're new, you're going to die to a lot of things and go WTF... because you never seen it before. You just have to file it all in the memory bank and use that knowledge for the next time you attack/defend that area.

Another thing, is to value your drone while attacking. A good strat would be, to put your drone in the room/area that you are going to enter the building in. That way when you go inside, you know if someone is waiting on you or not. A lot of people just rush into windows/doors blind when they first start playing this game and get raped. That can be avoided if you put your drone in there before hand.

I've played this game so much, I rarely ever get surprised.

You just have to play to get better, no way around it. At this point in the game, nobody is going to just pick this game up and wreck shyt. You gonna be food, especially if you playing by yourself.
