Let it go...

Vegas 1 & 2 aren't some holy grail or classic moments in gaming. I had both games. A FPS that lets you go into cover in 3rd person so you can camp corners without exposing yourself.

:camby:

And the maps were trash outside of 2 or 3. After the game was out for sometime, the only map people played was Calypso Casino. Hate when people bring up some nostalgia shyt just for the sake of bringing it up. There were better shooters out, and there were shooters that were more fun. Gears of War ran that time period when Vegas was out, so stop it acting like Vegas was some game changer.

Siege brings way more to the table in terms of uniqueness and tactical gameplay than most games available. We've never seen a game like this, that specifically targets CQC with this amount of destruction going on in the environment... and they giving the maps out for everybody, and everybody can get every operator without having to pay extra for them.

So is Acog the sight of choice for 99% of yall?
Started out with HOLO, but after playing this game and knowing the maps, and the recoil, there's really no reason that I can think of to not use the ACOG.

If the guns handled like BF4, there's no way I'd be using it in CQC combat, but since the recoil doesn't bounce around all crazy like that with it on, I put it on all my guns that I can. It makes seeing into and outside of buildings much easier as well.

This is opinion a strong one at that. The level of customization and cover with tactics was revolutionary. GOW came after rainbow, and isn't even realistic compared to rainbow. Of course there isn't a game like Siege but the fact they limit you is a travesty. If they gave you an openness in picking your gadgets would be great.

WRONG.

Gears 1 dropped Nov 6, 2006, Vegas 1 dropped Nov 20, 2006.

My point of bringing up Gears is that, people were playing that MUCH more and much longer than Vegas. Nothing about Vegas was 'Revolutionary'

:mjlol:

Game wasn't great visually, shyt was sluggish, had a cheap cover system compared to any other FPS game. Yeah you could customize shyt, but the way Siege has it based around classes is much more of a cat and mouse game for tactical gameplay and strategies. It's not even close.

:ohhh: so they came out around the same time that's good didn't know gears came out first.

No other fps had a cover system. I'm trying to see a Vegas game this gen. Rainbow was one of the most competitive shooters at its time period.

Nation Of Fun
Getting a little better every day :blessed:

Finally starting to grasp how people attack things and to be more patient and let the other team try and find you rather than searching them out every round. :mjcry:

I had to take the ACOG off all my guns because I was getting into a lot of close combat because I was just running around, now I'll probably put it on a couple of the guns I'm better with to try and keep distance between me and enemies.:ehh:
