These nikkas is they own worst enemy.

I remember in 07 when Method Man straight up said that the reason Ghost and Rae are friends is because they don’t like anything and bond over hating and it made so much sense lol. Meth said them nikkas would look at their mother’s Thanksgiving Turkey like “The fukk is THIS bullshyt?!?”

Rae is salty because he brought the movie idea to RZA but RZA decided to go the show route and in my opinion, the show route was the RIGHT route because its incredibly difficult to put the lives of 9 men into a 2 hour movie, that plus RZA has creative control, which is key.

He didn't wait until the show was over, he complained about it in his book. He's pissed cuz he had Leonardo Dicaprio ready to back a movie
with an A-List cast and big budget, but RZA already had a deal for the show.
He complained about it before they started filming. But he also had way more input on his characterization than he leads on. Shameik Moore had several sit downs with him, and would call him and ask for the real story behind the events on screen. Rae just likes to complain, which is fine if that's how he feels. But in the same token, it's a biopic, not a documentary. They've taken 3-4 separate events and people, and combined them. His movie would've been the same...except he'll probably exclude even more people...and gloss over more specifics, since he always talks vaguely about those days.

And even with Rae's movie, from his own mouth, RZA had several meetings with Leo and his team...even against his own goals and after repeatedly telling Rae a movie wouldn't work...as they tried to work out the logistics of doing a movie. It's not like RZA brushed it off completely, regardless of how Rae felt about the conclusion. RZA just had to sign off on the TV show to get that in motion, before anything for a movie was worked out.

The irony is that Rae feels like that wasn't him on screen, but from the entire Clan, and apparently Shameik's assessment, that's him. 🤣🤣🤣

As for Ghost not watching, he's not one to tell his story. He's the only one still making up a reason he wore the mask, and doesn't mention his street exploits. Bottom line, they don't like anything, as said by all of the Clan through the decades.

But they could still do a movie, from Forever to current...get the same actors, and use deleted scenes and new scenes as flashbacks to fill in.

To make a wu tang origin cinematically.

Would take the same type of massive re-amalgamated storytelling and re-writing changes.

Lucas made to star wars.
After originally wanting to make the dune feature film.

The wu show expertly reached a considerable compromise.
Considering the numerous variable and moving parts. In their origin.

It is already nine plus members.
As well as numerous affiliates in wu tang themselves.
Plus rza's massive family in their homestead.

The show and numerous principles would have to be condensed. As that is what the movie and film business is.
Plus you can not make a documentary. As their background would attract legal issues.

So the Hulu show is an incredible feature film meets episodic tv level compromise.
to the content and lore of wu tang.

Only neg worthy complaint.
I could see about the show is the casting of rza. Which over time you look over.

As the rest of the story is told expertly well.
from a movie magic meets itemized spreadsheet business model.

As the rest of the show is done really well. Plus one of the very few tv series I will give a chance. As I do not like episodic TV and have not watched episodic TV.
in like two or three decades or so.

As episodic TV has been garbage since the late eighties tbh.

So to get me.
to watch and actually like this show.
I feel this show is as high quality.
as you could produce.
In amalgamation of the numerous moving parts. Plus variables in wu tang origin and lore.

Rae's a clown, fake tough guy. Still remember when this bozo thought he was tough running up on weak azz buddens with 2 big guys when he could have seen him solo

I read that. I think this is a safe reply.

Like show us a picture of your open Insta profile messaging that to to Raekwon.

Are you 21?

The 1970s and 1980s in New York were much more crime ridden and poorly managed than now.

Raekwon got shot in a project shootout and survived.

It's scary because I don't think you understand that, with what you wrote.

I think my favorite scene in the whole show was that shyt from season 3 where the two of them were just hating for like 5 minutes straight, finally becoming friends once they had shyt to complain about :russ:

I'm gonna go through my old magazines. It was either Source or XXl with a RZA article, and he said "Only one person in the clan didn't like it. Rae, but he doesn't like anything." :russ:
