Deck sounds rejuvenated like it was 97 cuz these are old verses ... Decks is from "Word on the Street"

Everyone getting verse deja vu: this is a rework of the unreleased Rap Burglars originally produced by Math with these Deck and Rae verses that Math put on his Unreleased album:

Song was recorded during Forever sessions and, when it didn't drop, Deck reused his verse for Word on the Street.

Pretty common for Wu to reuse verses on other tracks if they didn't surface back then. For example, when Lay Your Hammer Down was also left off Forever, Deck's reused his verse on American Cream Team and GZA reused his verse on KP's Cross My Heart.

I still can't understand why "put your hammer down" was left off of WF. That would have easily been a top 3 song on the album.

It's such a short song too. You could easily fit it in and still do your mandated enhanced disc 1.

fukk, overseas got the Projects remix and Sunshower added (which, as positioned, remains the perfect album closer, which is why it starts w/ the helicopters fading out from Rae's outro).

Plus you have tracks like "The Chase" that are remnants of RZA's original concept for Forever as a storytelling album to be followed by a track of Meth rescuing him.
