I hear/read what you're saying and you're right. But ghost has been shytting on RZA's live instrumentation for years.

This Rae album isn't that special but it's better than those 2 live albums I heard put together. Cause at least Rae is trying.

See, the problem is...I would give more credence to what you posted if it mostly made sense. You can call those Ghost colloboration albums whatever you want..."half assed, lifeless"...but regardless of what you think YOU'RE in the MINORITY. ALL 3 of those albums were critically acclaimed and I salute Ghost for actually trying something different and making it work. You say that Ghost has been sh!tting on RZA live instrumentation for years, but he has been NO WHERE near as ubiquitous and vocal with his RZA criticism as Chef. And even if he was, SO WHAT? He's the only Wu member who has proven TIME AND TIME again that he can make a super high quality album without RZA's involvement. So he can talk. The only albums that Rae has put out that has been universally loved has had RZA fingerprints on it. Everything else has been "meh" to "just good". Just facts, bro. And I'm not really sh!ttin on this album. It has a few really good songs but overall I expected better. And y'all should know that Rae big time opened himself up for criticism by being on this seemingly 2 year crusade calling this album special and also by sh!ttin heavy on RZA's production.

I think rae needs to connect with a producer that has a vision for him because this album has no sonic cohesiveness. Thats what made shaolin vs wutang and ob4cl 2 so much better (despite not being anywhere near the lyrical level of ob4cl or immobilarity) is that all the beats had a similar flow within those albums that made it a complete project. Fila seems lazily put together and production seems cheap. Im with those who feel rae needs to holla at madlib or alchemist. Alchemist for sure is on raes dikk i met them at rock the bells with mobb deep, ghost and rae. Ya boy alchemist was all over rae talkin that legend shyt lol.
