An interesting discussion that can come from this whether people on dating sites realize how stuff like this affect the way folks view them as a candidate.
For as many White/Hispanic/Middle Eastern/Asian chicks on sites that make it a point to say "I don't date black guys" or black people saying they're open to dating other races, I wonder how many of them disqualify themselves from the races they DO prefer by putting the preference out there.
I imagine that if I were a liberal person of another race and I saw an attractive chick who made it a point to say "NO BLACKS" on their POF site, I'd be a bit turned off. I'd be as turned off as I would seeing a chick saying she ONLY dates black guys or whatever. Just seems a bit extra. Beggars shouldn't be choosers. If I went out the way to put "NO FAT BROADS OR SINGLE MOTHERS" on a dating profile, I'd probably be repelling gorgeous freaks that think I'm insensitive.
I've never even thought about it like that. When I see " I don't date BLACK GUYS" I just assume that the only interaction that she's had with them are on the internet where they're extra bold. Or it's just their preference but whatever.
