nah Boston is pretty safe theres only a few neighborhoods that have any crime and most people never go to them since they are away from the tourist areas but overall the city is as safe as anywhere really. being black here in the 50-70's was probably shytty but now even the white "hoods" in southie that may have gave ya a hard time are gentrified and everyone basically gets along here. the only people causing issues in the city are bar fighting white guys from the metro area and black gang bangers in roxbury and mattapan and dorchester and even then the city was worse 5 years ago and alot worse 20 years ago. Boston is a international city ahead of the world in education and healthcare and technology this isnt Detroit or Baltimore there are far less shytheads here
