Yeah Bugs was a racist. I remember all the Japanese and Indian Bugs Bunny cartoons. As well as ones portraying people as "savages" either in Africa or the Pacific Islands.

Why are you all surprised? Cartoons are just reflections of the culture at the time. Bugs, and 99% of Looney Tunes stars were created and popularized by Tex Avery. A man with parents from the South and born and raised in Texas in the early part

of the century. Dude is legend, but of course i'd bet money on him being a bigot to some degree. I still love Looney Tunes b/c they were funny as fukk. They had moments but most of the time it was just great comedy. Timeless classics.

Lol... you can tell the youngsters here. They started editing out the racist aspects of the old Warner Bros. and MGM cartoons in recent years. When I used to watch them coming up, all the way until my teens I believe, they showed them unedited.

Word I was born in 89, but i've seen these years ago....you can find nearly all of them on youtube ​

I remember a Droopy cartoon where Spike set a cabin on fire and yelled out 'help' like a chick in distress so Droopy could go inside and get burned up. Droopy came outta nowhere, ran inside then ran out with a PAWG...had Spike like

So Spike runs in the burning cabin, tryna see if he could get a PAWG too....and the shyt quickly burns to the ground with him inside, leaving him standing there all black with big lips like you described. Droopy comes running back, goes to him and says "Hey, blackie.....got any more babes in there?"

The sumo, geisha and gook stereotypes are all in the beginning. Around the 6 minute mark, you can see where bugs plans to give the japanese ice cream bombs and calls them bowed legs, monkey face, and slant eyes.
