To each its on.:yeshrug: I like weave & I'm not a fan of boxing black women & telling them how they should & shouldn't wear their hair.Although I will say I do think that her hair style would have looked better with highlights in it or maybe a lighter black since it looks like a dark intense black.
Its not "their" hair, its hair of someone else that they bought for 300+ dollars to put on their head and parade around in it.

No, but are you South Sudanese? I suggest you don't worry about it since you are not part of her community. In some respects i have more of a say, since we were one country at one time. And if you knew her as a person you will feel kind of guilty critizing her.
She is black and so am I. I can talk about black women wearing weave for as long as I please.

Just because you are married to her doesn't change the fact that I find weave disgusting.

I am North Sudanese myself, and to me it does not make sense? I mean if she was married to one of the princes in the Gulf, or married one of the prominent tribes in the Gulf, it would be one thing, but the fact of the matter this is outside their scope, in other words it is none of their business since their marriage does not have nothing to do with them since she is South Sudanese and he being Australian, both are Kaffir from a Muslim point of view. I have not seen the website, but i find it kind of odd, once i find the website, i have to get my cousin to translate it for me, to really see what is going on.

Because much like every other race, Arabs are obsessed with hating Blacks

She says she loves her skin but at the same time shacked up with someone white. Her children are not going to be her same complexion but I am suppose to believe she loves her skin. :dead::dead::dead::dead:
Exactly.:dead:

How do black women in IR say they love they're black skin and have black pride:duck: but have no problem killing they're bloodline.

Do they think anyone with common sense will believe that shyt.:heh:

I don't care what anybody says, you have no black pride or love for your skin if you marry/pro-create outside your race PERIOD.:camby:

All those Ayrab men and Woman hating are wishing the white man was fukking them instead. Vile creatures man. :scust:
you not seeing the problem, is the problem

I reckon me and most people on this thread has different points of views and in some respects live in different worlds, since i did not grow up in America, i don't know what is like being a person of *color* in the United States, because i have never had to face that reality. So we are looking at things from different prisms.

Nah, not to "each his own" because you never see any other race of women wearing black kinky hair to replace their own. There's an inherent problem there that needs to be called out.

But what does that mean?If other races of women did do that, would it be "okay," for black women to wear weave? The problem I see is everyone feeling like they have the right to tell black women how they should look.Black men have an opinion, white men have an opinion, white women have an opinion, and even some other black women have an opinion on what a black woman should look like. They feel like they have dictation on what you can/can not do with your hair.I'm on a college campus & I see weave, braids, natural, etc& I like it all & I like seeing black girls doing what they want with their hair.

Its not "their" hair, its hair of someone else that they bought for 300+ dollars to put on their head and parade around in it.

So?Hair is an accessory just like wearing fake nails. One "fake," is not better or more "real," than another "fake."If you're going to have a problem with one fake have a problem with them all.

I am Sudanese from the North, therefore i feel oblige as a woman to defend her. Again her hair is her business.

having black women uphold eurocentric beauty standards as superior is a problem. wearing someone elses hair to avoid embracing your own hair is a problem. raising black boys to believe non-black hair is more attractive, is a problem.

so when i see women from africa, wearing the same stupid, jetblack hairhats; i'm fukking embarrassed. for some reason, i thought y'all would have more pride about yourselves.

She lives in Africa, actually the same country as me, but i grew up in New Zealand, but she is from one of the poor villages in Sudan. There is more ways to look African.
