A mousy (but still obviously babely) brunette journalist enters an office and has no idea what she’s in for! How will an intimidatingly composed and temperamental dom change her worldview forever? Will the hours of painful endeavors and torturous tasks make her orbreak her?
It’s the plot of two different movies, which look sort of like the same movie, according to their trailers: 2006’s The Devil Wears Prada and the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey. Let’s compare:
Nodding anxiously in a collared shirt and blue sweater.
Considering one's power in a darkened, private car.
Significantly exiting an elevator while holding a manual.
Opening a door (symbolically, literally) into a room of life-altering goods.
Being uncertain in an office hallway.
Glancing up with passive, hopefully earnest puppy eyes.
Is everyone prepared for some icy-hot love scenes?

Can't tell me there weren't vampire books about a human girl and a vampire boy before Twilight. Vampire Diaries came out in 1991, so I knew Stephanie Meyer read those books before she wrote TwilightI know she read Anne Rice's novels too. She just flipped it just enough.
Hunger Games ripped off of Battle Royale but, flipped it just enough to make it new.
The Worst Witch came out 25 years before Harry Potter. JK Rowling took that template (magical boarding school), added more action, made it darker and voila! Billion dollar franchise.

It looks to me like a young secretary "falls in love" with her boss because he's a millionaire with a lavish lifestyle, etc. and then he has her doing freaky shyt, probably pissing on her, etc.. and she accepts it because she want that lifestyle.

i don't even know what 50 Shades is about. I somehow avoided the hype for those books
