The first time I saw Maddow years ago, I had to watch about five minutes before I thought, "She's just another talk show hack like all the right-wing fools".

I get her appeal to liberals, but don't forget to leave your integrity at the door. She's a partisan hack performing entertainment for a partisan audience. It's a waste of time to watch her thinking you're going to get meaningful news or honest analysis.

I feel like that's true for all these people. This is why I stopped watching the news a long time ago. It's all just entertainment for ratings.

The problem is, the entertainment they're pushing just pisses people off and divides each other.

Conspiracies do happen. There's a difference between a very plausible conspiracy theory and a wild baseless accusation. The theory that Trump's camp leaked this is entirely plausible and makes sense. It makes a little more sense than an accusation that Obama is a demon or that microwaves are spying on people.

You're glazing over the fact that her answer dodged a very specific question:

What evidence, if any, does President Trump have that he was being "wiretapped" (or surveillanced at all), and what evidence does he have that Obama specifically ordered it?

Had this come out during Obama's term, it would be an impeachable offense. You cannot make baseless claims about your predecessor for brownie points; it sets a dangerous precedent.
