I don't think a person should be fired for having an OnlyFans account.

I just wonder where the line shifts to. Employers could come up with any excuse to fire you.

It's one thing if there is a clear conflict of interest. Like, you couldn't be the CEO of McDonald's and Burger King.

That aside though, it shouldn't matter what else you do to make additional income, provided you're not breaking any laws.

In theory you could work at Chik Fil A and if you have a part time job at Draft Kings and your Chil Fil A manager decides they don't like that because it goes against their values against gambling, they could fire you. And that would be ridiculous in my opinion.

The long term impacts of this stuff can have unforseen repercussions.

It's ethics breh, you represent an institution and you can't be a school teacher and then publicly expose your pelvic private pubic area for 9.99 per month....

She had to go...

If you are a freak...do it off-hours and away from work...

The problem is...where do you draw the line?

Because today it's Onlyfans. Tomorrow it's something else. And that something else might be something you think would be fine.

This is the issue. Everyone is okay drawing the line they are okay with. Until that line impacts them directly.

Line's already drawn...being a porno star and working in the education system ain't happening. Maybe in Europe but not in the USA due to the conservative nature for most institutions.

One person tarnishing the rep of a company isn't worth it...so they get the boot for violating the ethics/social media clause.

You can't embarrass the company you work for with an out of pocket social media life...You just can't have it both ways.

In every state employers can fire you for anything that's not protected under the 14th, especially something that's prohibited under union contract. Wake up breh

exactly. I'm imagining something like a person's social media posts or some dumb sh*t being used as grounds.
