only in your world is the offspring bigger and better then the prototype.

You weren't around in 85 86, 87,88 or 89. LL was the 2pac of the 80's.

I'm not listening to someone who wasn't there when Radio and Bigger and Deffer dropped.

Lets look at these dedication songs

In 93 LL name drops all the biggest rappers but he doesn't mention Pac cuz Pac still hadn't made an impact like that.

2 years later Pac does a dedication song and he's all on LL's tip. He name drops LL several times.

Sorry buddy but I believe 2pac over you. And yes LL later down the line acknowledges Pac in his music but that was way after his death.

Doing mini articles changes nothing. I WAS AROUND (born in 1979) knew of and was a fan of LL waaaaaaaaaaaaay before i knew who pac was.
Of course LL was saluted by 2pac and rightfully so.
But 2pac eclipsed him.
He became a hater (or a fan,you decide)

Ah ah
Baby girl was draped in Chanel
Said she love Tupac but hates some LL

Well of course he was a fan

3 years earlier

Like i said, your post proves nada.
I was around and none of what you posted makes him bigger than pac.

No bias at all

2 Pac is in my top 3 greatest of all time but LL Cool J is a Way better rapper than him

Whoever u think is currently the best rapper out today.. Well LL Cool J was spitting like that when he was 16 years old!!

Ok so 2pac is top 3,ll is better so he's top 2?
Who else is in the top 3 with LL and pac?

You consider him a better rapper than Cube:patrice:?

I wouldnt say hes better than Cube and was surpassed by D.O.C:banderas:.

Edit-i see better rapper in quotations so Ill assume you think thats bullshyt, but just humbly throwing these LL stans a bone:salute:

I'm saying that if you approach it from the angle that R.A. does you could make that argument. He's talking ranking XYZ higher than LL based on shyt like syllable placement...how many people is Eminem going to knock out of the top 10 if we go that route? He'd never admit that shyt though

Cube > LL for reasons that go beyond syllable count or even longevity and that effect is multiplied in the case of 2pac.

And this is coming from someone who agrees with the notion that LL should get into the hall first.

Edit: I actually watched the video..Vlad is fukking horrible as usual.

NY nikkas still trying to discredit the GOAT:mjlol:

:jawalrus:

MFW you and the others in this thread use the term GOAT , a term LL started.

For the record there is no such thing as GOAT. Because U will always have to disregard someone else who made an impact.

If i say Rakim i disregard everything, Melle mel, LL, Moe dee, Chuck D , mc lyte, Heavy D Kane and KRS layed out.

If i say Pac I disregard everything Scarface, Biggie , Cube, Jay z, Andre 3000, Lauryn and Em layed out.

There is no such thing as GOAT. But u can have a personal GOAT. The foolishness starts when u think your personal GOAT should be everyone elses

Eminems multi syllable rhyming and technical ability is more impressive and noteworthy where that argument could be used in his favor,if somebody used that wack criteria to judge goats:lolbron:

But LL is not impressive enough in that category to bring that up in a debate against Cube or Pac...and i dont think he wins in that category either way.
