Yeah, I see a great promo segment from Cena/Truth before the PPV, then Truth losing clean at the PPV. It's clear this was a short term singles push, where do you go as the heel losing clean in a PPV title match to Cena?
I was marking out for this Truth run back then, him smoking cigs ringside, not only being given the role but showing he fits the part. It was his first opportunity in that spot with the E. But you could tell what time it was. Even after the Punk fallout and he got out of the Miz tag team, they never gave him that shot again...
Getting the finisher after a soda was thrown in his face is not a clean win, breh.

vibesTruth is a guy who's been everywhere and been over everywhere despite not being protected and rarely pushed. So he sees Punk get major pushes and not draw any more than other top guys, and yet Punk still complains like he's faced great injustice, and I don't think Truth's being a stooge when he doesn't like that.

The issue is why are all these stooges coming out of the woodwork now that Punk's going to AEW.
Where were they the last 7 years?
I don't see them sending shots at anybody else who left WWE, but the minute it was concerned Punk was going to AEW, first they got Roman talking shyt, then they got Booker Tom talking shyt, now they got Truth talking shyt.
