I was watching some R Kelly trapped in the closet playlist during my last 15 minutes of work.

I'm on like part 16 and them I'm hit with BAM!

I was doing the same thing Sunday, I hadn't seen the whole series so I watched like 18 episodes. I had his channel saved in my subs, and I just checked my YT history, it's gone!

I understand that but it opens a huge can of worms. Like someone mentioned are they removing everything associated with Weinstein as well? What about Woody Allen? Oh well, more reason to not go fully digital or at least not all in with these streaming services.

It does, and it’s a problem.. that why I’m big on ownership and buying physical. Besides that, businesses have picked and chosen what to sell in their stores since the start of time. It’s why we shouldn’t become reliant on one store to consume our goods. I can’t tell YouTube how to run their company because I have no equity... so with that said, the issue isn’t YouTube per-se but more towards the toxic cancel culture.

Seems like a thread that shouldn't be pulled. A lot of artists are not only accused dirtbags but proven to be shyt people Gary Glitter is a notorious pedophile but he made a mega hit that you can't see a football game without hearing. This ain't me making a but white people post this is asking how far does this go is it just R.Kelly? and if so are we going to admit that we pick and choose who's dirt we ignore?

They simply removed his official youtube. That Gary Glitter is NOT on an official Gary Glitter page, it's not a comparable situation.

R Kelly is still on youtube, just not the official blue check page.
