50 Cent may have just ended his ever-souring relationship with Floyd Mayweather by teaming up with the latter's greatest rival, Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz told the Boxing Scene about the boxer's relationship with the rapper:
"50 Cent and I have been talking now for maybe the last two months. They approached us with the idea to form a promotional company," Koncz told Boxing Scene.
"Initially it was going to be 50 Cent, Manny and Floyd. But right now I don't think Floyd is going to be a part of it."
This business venture comes on the heels of 50 Cent closing TMT Promotions, which he had launched in July with the intent of promoting Mayweather fights. Since Mayweather's return from prison, 50 Cent acknowledge the relationship has been strained.
"[The issues between us] really comes from everybody around him is waiting on the next time he feels generous. And I have a lot [of money], so I don't wait for nobody," 50 Cent said on the Rickey Smiley Show. "I'll go do what I gotta do. I don't have to sit around and wait for the next time he feels like giving somebody something."
It would seem 50 Cent had planned on Mayweather fighting under the TMT Promotions banner and changed his mind. At the end of the day, 50 Cent can feud with Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao can invest his money wherever he likes.
All the people want is Mayweather-Pacquiao.
