:mjcry:I swear.....2022 starting off on a shyt note. Dude was of age but man he was the epitome of the blueprint for black actors to prosper. I still think of the part in "In The Heat of The Night" where the botanist tried to slap fire in Sidney and Sidney gave that cac back two times the fire. Sadly, they edited out that part of the movie in the south because "cacs".

Poitier was the living civil rights movement on cinema that we truly needed at the time.

A true legendary actor in every sense. Rest in Power Mr. Poitier. Always been a fan. Moved the needle for black actors/actresses.
