This is fukking with me man. Not Ruck:sadbron: I'm just glad I got to see him live, a couple of years back at Soundset. He wasn't very active on stage, but his rhymes sitll resonated.

Nocturnal could be my favorite BCC record, though that Holy Trinity of Enta Da Stage/Dah Shinin'/Nocturnal is about as good as it gets, and picking one over the others is damn near impossible.

The outpouring of love on Twitter, while not unusual for someone that passes, seems a little stronger than usual. Shows how respected he was in the game. Like dude said above, it sucks that it takes the DEATH of someone for everyone to express their deepest feelings for that person, but unfortunately that's where we've gone as a society. We SHOULD show that love in life, but we're all too busy/stubborn/whatever to stop and show a little love. It's a shame.

My condolences go out to his friends and family. May they be strong in their biggest test to date.

Went through this whole thread, props to all the brehs posting featurings, mixtape tracks and other stuff I missed over the years...

I'm not a big concert guy but when I heard that he had a gig in Brussels I was like no way I'm missing this...went solo, it was the Random Axe concert...was a small venue, I got there late (I thought) and I see P and Guillty Simpson smoking a cig by the entrance, said what's up and let them be, as expected he totally stole the show and was joking with people in the audience...basically was 45 min Random Axe and an extra hour of Sean P, breh was too ill with it...

Damn that sucks

I always thought Heltah Skeltah were gonna be huge after that first album..they were street dudes but because of P they also were witty and charismatic which slot of street rappers don't have and limits their appeal

The second album they decided to go for a west coast sound for some radon then they disappeared for awhile.
