No hip-hop death has ever affected me this much.
At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, I kinda feel like hip-hop died yesterday because it's hard to think of an emcee that was still doing it that more personifies hip-hop than Sean P and he was the last of a dying breed.
He had the raw emceeing ability, the street edge, the larger than life personality, and the sense of humor that allowed him to not take himself too seriously while taking his craft very seriously.
He pulled off music with lyrics that sounded like a throwback to the mid-90's, keeping all those pure hip-hop sensibilities without sounding

in this era.
