Sean Price was one of the nicest, not popular rappers to pick up a mic. He always brought the heat. He always gave his best. Mic Tyson is a testament to his his greatness.

Plus him and Agollah performed this shyt live at a club in the Bricks back in 01.

Best song off of GTA III

Fukk life right now, may he rest in peace and peace to his fam and his friends.

Damn now I'm thinking of Guru as 8 ball :mjcry:

Damn me and him was the same age, scares me a little.

Hearing this news earlier today totally caught me off guard...it fukked up my day Sean P was one of the dopest MC's touch the mic. His bars, wittiness, and humor was too ill. I remember seeing him perform in Brooklyn a few years back when Jesus Price Superstar was out... what a dope show. RIP...its crazy i had Monkey Barz in my car today so i had to bump it. When Heartburn came on though :mjcry:

This is really sad. Sean is one of the few rappers in history to actually get better with age, most start out nice and then fall off but he was nice in the beginning and just took it to another level with his solo stuff. I did notice that in some verses the last couple of years he sounded like he didn't have the same breath control he had in the past kind of like Pun had towards the end.

No hip-hop death has ever affected me this much.

At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, I kinda feel like hip-hop died yesterday because it's hard to think of an emcee that was still doing it that more personifies hip-hop than Sean P and he was the last of a dying breed.

He had the raw emceeing ability, the street edge, the larger than life personality, and the sense of humor that allowed him to not take himself too seriously while taking his craft very seriously.

He pulled off music with lyrics that sounded like a throwback to the mid-90's, keeping all those pure hip-hop sensibilities without sounding :flabbynsick: in this era.

:rip: Never be another one like him.

I was really thinking about how crazy another Heltah Skeltah album could be last week during my P marathon. Rock needs to step up. No more weak projects. He's the only guy left in Boot Camp with next level ability unless miraculously Starang wakes up from whatever coma he's been in.
