My favourite thing about Quincy Jones was how he constantly evolved with the times. No complaining or crying about being left behind, he just showed up and put in the work, decade after decade. He didn't wait for change to happen; he became the change he wanted to see everytime.

quincy was a real one... from ray charles, count basie, to the modern day.. you cannot like music without loving his work period

a brilliant mind as well as a moral one, something we could all learn from

He made it out with his good name intact, unlike so many other legends.

He had a great documentary. I didnt even realize all the prolific work that he’s done. You should definitely check it out.
