I'm guessing it would be Ta Nehisi talking to Amanda Gorman or somebody like that.

I get what you're saying though.

It was like when I was watching that doc about how Gore Vidal & William F. Buckley used to have like televised debates that tens of millions of people used to tune into like it was sporting event in the '60s & '70s.

That shyt would never happen today :heh:

It’s the news media’s fault too. They prefer noisy confrontations versus actual discussion.

This is partly why the podcast format is taking off, because it’s a return to the old style of engagement.
