This franchise truly needs to draft a QB, give him a steady coach/personnel and developed him correctly. The Browns haven't done that for over 20 years and this is the reason why they are in this predicament now with riding hope on Watson who is looking like damaged goods every game.

We did draft a QB and give him steady coaching and personnel , Baker had consistent weapons and coaching post-Freddie, at least as consistent as any other rebuilding team.
I wouldn't just roll with a rookie, but a rookie with Cousins or someone in a two year deal would be HITTING right now.

Take the lead at the half. Glad the defense is playing better. Watson still looking like that he needs to get the rust off. Some of his passes were off but overall the offense looks so much better with him in there.

looked rusty, but definitely improved as the game went on. Can't ask for much more than that, and it was good he was good to go for this game because his first being back against that baltimore defense would have been tragic.
