Breh, DW was providing bottom 3rd QB production across the season....with a full off-season with these guys. I don't get why you're gassing him like he was having a pro bowl season, he's already the Nasty Man, he's done more than enough for us to truly tear him down:skip:
I just like what I'm seeing from Flacco in this offense, didn't think that was a controversial take.
I’m not gassing anything.

Cacs been dying for a reason to hate on dude cause he made all that money. They obviously gone hype up the old white man to tear him down.

By the numbers Flacco is just OK, just like DW was.

And naw you didn’t just say you like what you see in flacco. You said DW was “buns” with the same numbers as the guy you called “elite”

Im glad we won, and glad Flacco played well today. Cacs using this game to shyt on DW (who is 4-1 this season while playing hurt) is wild to see :stopitslime:
There is always going to be a segment of the Browns fanbase/media that will never embrace Watson, no matter what he does on the field.

Great team win and need to build on it for next week against the Bears.

I don't think race has anything to do with people criticizing DW in this case, at all. DW had 2 good games and bad to mid otherwise, while the defense did the majority of the heavy lifting. The injury is definitely something to consider, but the way Flacco has come in after a long absence from football and ran the offense is attacking the continual "rust" excuse that we keep giving DW.

Watson is already a sexual deviant out here, no need to cape for him like people are unfairly attacking him. Strictly talking football we should expect him to be playing at least as well as Flacco did this last game, consistently.

Honestly it's kinda weird to make this a racial case:manny:

Strictly talking football he showed flashes against Tennessee & looked like it was finally clicking the 2nd half vs Baltimore. The guy has been chilled out and worked to mix in with the the team with no distractions. Its also definitely weird to think race is not playing a factor with some of the fans. :yeshrug: I mean they were up in arms cause the guy was sitting in a suite per the teams request with the other injured players after his surgery instead of wandering the sideline, accused him of faking an injury etc. Anybody else that would've played that 2nd half vs the Ravens with his injury would get the gutsy performance label and all that stuff. It is what it is though. I hope Flacco continues to run the show well and we make some noise.

This is america, race is always a factor.

White people get the chance for redemption and forgiveness (see ben rothlesberger) they gone be on DW neck forever.

Also it’s not just the freaky man stuff. That contract he got pissed off lots of people. There’s always been a kinda jealously from white folks when a black athlete makes big money especially if they aren’t a perfect model citizen in white folks eyes.

From the day he signed that contract there’s been a concerted effort in the media to prove he doesn’t deserve it.

Joe Flacco lost his first game and didn’t really look great and the headlines were already talking about how “the browns have finally found a qb”

Again, by the numbers Flacco and DW have performed pretty equally this year. But if you check the headlines you’d think DW was Mac jones status and Flacco was Peyton manning :stopitslime:

Deshaun hasn't been great, but last time we saw him he was 14-14 and led the Browns back to beat the best team in the AFC. No reason to shyt on Watson because the Monday after that Ravens game everyone thought Watson was back and the Browns were contenders. Then we find out the next day he's out for the season.

The reason people are hyped about Flacco is because we were gonna be stuck watching DTR or Walker. DTR is serviceable but I think we all just hype we don't have to watch PJ Walker attempt another pass in a Browns jersey....God willing
