One of my favorites growing up.

Ariwolf is a lot more violent than I remembered it as a child. He had enough firepower to carpet bomb the entire desert.

If they tried to reboot it they would have to soften it up a lot for its target market

I've never seen the original Blue Thunder movie, but apparently it was supposed to be a "conspiracy theory"-type movie about the government using super high tech secret black helicopters in "whisper mode" to spy on people and conduct assassinations, etc.



Then, they took the movie and turned it into a fun Knight Rider ripoff TV show for the kids
